Thank you to everyone who came along to mask making @abdnartmuseums ✨ we had a totally relaxed afternoon discussing making and the grays 140 exhibition, particularly David Blyths classical metamorphosis sculptures!

Ive been kept busy the last 6 months being artist in residence with Aberdeen City Libraries, working with community groups and young people creating all sorts of ideas and models about what the future of central library could be ✨

This work has culminated in a model library built with young people in a former shop unit, using exclusively recycled materials from the library, and you can visit it! Next week! During spectra! Drop by the old dizzy unit (next to black sheep coffee on union st) thursday/friday/saturday do some drawing, get involved, and pick up a free book 💃

Now that i have given all my handmade gifts i thought it was worth sharing a bit of what i made here 🎄 will be open for commissions next year likely but do book it early lol

Early christmas sewing @rccabdn with the young sewists! These gorgeous ornaments will be up for sale at the Rosemount Christmas market to raise funds for the group - fully made from scrap fabric including stuffing!!

Such a fun couple of days with @rccabdn young sewers! 🤩

We spoke a lot about textiles and sustainability, and they were ace at creating their own visions and designs 🪡

They have now entrusted me with their panels to take them to the studio and work them into a banner to be unveiled in Rosemount community centre at a later date 🫡

Still at the library this week collecting aberdeens messages for morse code broadcast,, thanku to everyone who has joined in so far - for those of you who havent, pop by Thursday afternoon / Friday morning to get involved ✨

A couple bits of my work will be there - the show will be open from today till monday, with a lil celebration tonight so do pop along 🎉

Discovered on my hard drive from our filming trip a while back, glad to still be finding this costume endless fun & seeing it in new lights

Have still been playing in the studio with these collages, more to come soon for sure 🥰

Delighted to have attended the @visual.arts.scotland Now and Then exhibition private view last night, where the frayed edges costume is on display! The show is open until the 25th August🪡

Really a fantastic exhibition with a great mix of work in a beautiful setting at Dalkeith Palace, massive thank you to the VAS team for putting it all together 💖

Oh and i should really also shout out @meggg.miller & rudders for getting it to @rutherford176 and rutherford176 for delivering the costume for install, thanks icons 😎
